This debut was everything I was hoping for in a summer read: voice-y, witty, and swoony, but with depth I always appreciate. Quinn's summer is becoming quite a mess: her grandmother is suffering from Alzheimer's, her father has gambling addiction that's costing him a lot more than money, she's lost her shot at a band trip to England, and her friend-turned-nemisis, Wesley James, is back in Seattle after years spent in Portland. Quinn makes it her mission to punish Wesley for a mistake he made years before, but along the way, she starts to realize that maybe she doesn't hate him quite as much as she'd like. Quinn and Welsey have fantastic banter and flirty chemistry, but their relationship is deeper than that, too, and I loved watching it rekindle, and then develop into more. I also loved this story's setting: Seattle and, more specifically, Quinn and Wesley's workplace, Tudor Tymes, which is full of charm and ridiculousness. Pick this one up in a few weeks if you're looking for a fun, smart, romantic poolside read.

I finished the book in two datos, ir was fantastic.
A cure love story where everything leads to forgive and move on. While in the middle, se enjoy the misadventures and mischivieus plots of a not so classic heroine
This was a sweet and cleaning and adult book. The main character is very authentic there are several moments I thought I was right there in the story with her.
If you’re looking for a happy ending you get it with this book.
I really enjoyed this story! I'm glad Quinn came around and decided that Wesley was actually a good guy. And I'm sad that Caleb turned out to be a creep. One thing I could have done without was thrilled half dozen times the author just inserted a line of punctuation. "!!!!!!!!!!" Is fine when you're texting someone... maybe not so much in the middle of your narrative. Overall, I really enjoyed this book, punctuation issues aside.
A very cute, innocent YA romance. I fell in love with Wesley, he was adorable! I was a little frustrated and confused as to how Quinn could possibly blame her families demise on him. But I guess she just needed someone else to blame

This is the perfect kind of book for when I am in a reading slump. Were there some problems? Yes, I definitely got a little irritated at some points because of how hell bent Quinn was on getting her revenge, and there were a few times when it felt like things were resolved a little too easily, but overall I thought it was a fun read, and like I said before, it was the perfect kind of book for when I am in a reading slump.
I can't even put into words how happy this book made my heart. As a former clarinet player, as a former high schooler whose grandma suffered with Alzheimer's, I identified so hard with Quinn. Everything about it was incredibly relatable. Not only was the setting adorable (who doesn't love a medieval themed restaurant?!) but each character was fleshed out in a completely natural way. Watching Wesley and Quinn's love-to-hate-to-love relationship and all of the obstacles that come along with it was truly a joy. I gobbled it up in one sitting.
I loved this novel. However, the cover does not fit the story at all. There are only two short scenes with a food truck and the truck is white. Also, Wesley has blonde hair but maybe the guy on the cover is supposed to be someone else. The book was a fun and fast read I read it in about a night. Quinn isn't always a likable main character but she grows. The enemies to friends or more aspect is adorable. I'm glad I read this one even if the story doesn't fit the cover at all.
