The Club.
As with all of this authors books it starts at a furious pace. Follow the goings on at the Club, with all the sex and ultimately murder. The way in which some of the murders are carried out are fantastic, and very descriptive. The last 10% of this book is awesome with the ending brilliant.
I am so glad that I discovered this author and I can't get enough of his book. Very highly recommended.

When Anthony Hulse writes about the inside of a gentlemen’s club, you feel the vibration of the music, and detect the combined scents of perfume, smoke, and perspiration. In The Club, I enjoyed how the author combines employees in the newspaper business, powerful politicians, and high ranking police officials, with thieves, ladies of the night, strippers, demented killers, and other denizens of contemporary society.

Hulse is a masterful story teller, and he makes it easy to like many of his characters, and totally despise others. In The Club, the author does a superb job of bringing us up close and personal with the seedy side of life that’s usually discussed in whispers, or behind closed doors.

It takes a talented author to chart a course through a sea of dastardly deeds, and Hulse holds the proper credentials. The Club is a first class thriller, and a wonderful read.
Promising story on the back, poorly worked out...
Would not recommend it someone else.
What does this book do in the list of 100 best thrillers?
Just give me stuff like "I am Pelgrim"...
